This policy explains how Everswick Properties Ltd collects and uses personal information. We are the data controller and are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

- Details of properties you own or wish to rent
- Identity, referencing and Right to Rent documents for tenants and landlords
- Bank details for paying or collecting rent
- Technical information such as your IP address and the pages you visit
How we use it
We use personal information to answer enquiries, provide lettings and management services, meet our legal obligations such as anti-money-laundering and Right to Rent checks, and keep our records accurate. We rely on contract, legal obligation and legitimate interests as our lawful bases. We ask for consent before sending marketing emails.
Who we share it with
We share information only where it is needed: with referencing agencies, deposit protection schemes, contractors attending a property, utility companies and local authorities, and our IT and accounting providers. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for 12 months. Tenancy and landlord records are kept for seven years after the relationship ends, to meet tax and legal requirements.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Write to hello@everswickproperties.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
